The Batman and Teen Titans Shared Universe?

Batman, Robin, Teen Titans,DC Comics,Anime, Animation

Unlike many, I enjoyed The Batman [2004] TV Series. Upon re-watching some episodes it struck me, how much it and Teen Titans seemed to have a natural fit.

I am not asserting they were intended to go together. Only that one could, if one wished imagine a DC Alternate Anime 'Verse where Teen Titans existed within that framework.

Because yes its always been sort of weird how the 89' Batman movie spawned the DCAU intentionally or not, yet while that was going, Teen Titans existed over in an isolated corner not a part of it. Of course Teen Titans wouldn't mesh so great with the DCAU. However it could exist, with a little fudging beside The Batman which could serve as a kind of prequel to it.

All of which is to say, when Robin alludes to Batman at all in the context of Teen Titans, one is probably better off thinking its the Dark Knight from The Batman, rather than Batman from Bruce Timm's TAS

Mumm-Ra [ThunderCats 2011]?

Mumm-Ra [ThunderCats 2011]

What, or who was Mumm-Ra in the ThunderCats 2011 series? An alien, or some muted and unnaturally preserved human?

In its short time we got a surprising number of answers (and surprising answers!) from the ThunderCats 2011 series. The entire history of the Animals of Third Earth is laid out for us, providing greater context to the overall conflict.

Yet the series antagonist, Mumm-Ra remains an enigma.

The easy answer would be, Mumm-Ra was an alien being. We are in fact lead to think he's just a powerful alien sorcerer who wields both magic and technology. Yet that doesn't explain the clearly human mummification trappings.

Did Mumm-Ra and his Animal slaves travel full circle? Third Earth, if it indeed is our Earth could very well be Mumm-Ra's point of origin. Perhaps he is the result of some insane experiment? Mumm-Ra, The Everliving, grotesque outcome of some Transhumans breach of technology and magic so as to attain life eternal?

Mumm-Ra never tells us and we know what we do about the Animal's history only because of ThunderCats lore and the Book of Omens.

Danmachi/Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, Danmachi, Anime, Asian Girls, Cartoon, Fan Service, Boobs, Feet,

Danmachi/Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?/Familia Myth is my new favorite thing!

No really, I'm obsessed!

I can't express how much I enjoy this Anime and the world it has presented. Aside from its wonderfully rendered art, and quirky characters, both gods, humans, and animal people. I like the idea of presenting a "Dungeons & Dragons" environment like its not a game, yet the conceits of leveling up, and all the attendant roleplaying game ideas are there, including the collection of jewels which are converted into player money to be spent to buy better equipment and the like.

Right, Hestia is adorable.

Now its rather long, and somewhat awkward title might turn some people off, but I assure you, this show is bigger than Fanservice. Everyone, god and human alike has a story and aspirations, and are not just there for shock value.

Judging by the the internet, I'm a little late jumping onto the Danmachi craze.
